El Sancho se Gradua!
It seems like just yesterday that I was a teenage parent/guardian to this little 9 year old boy and filling out forms for school. Half lost on a lot of the things required for him to go to school like his shots and emergency contacts if I wasn’t around. Filling out his name and mine about 8 times on tri-colored sheets of white, pink and blue. My hand cramped a few times from so many forms to...

My dogs....
They are very smart dogs. They are not supposed to sit on the couch and every time I come home and catch them dozed on a side arm they know they’ve done wrong because they look at me and don’t move in hopes that I don’t see them… Very smart dogs indeed.

Twilight
My husband, who shall remain nameless for the sake of his manhood, really likes Twilight. Recently we went to see Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 1 for Thanksgiving. I was so excited about the ending and curious what’s going to happen next that I decided that maybe I should have read the book. I searched the book to read online and started reading immediately after we got home from the movies. I...

themoonbog: Here’s a little mix I made on my 8 Tracks page of some music from the 20s and 30s.  I’ve been thinking about the parallels between the 20s and 30s and these modern times.  There are a lot of striking similarities.  New Technologies, Dust Bowls, Economic Hard Ships, Prohibition (in this case Marijuana), Single Issue Politics, Hard Liquor.

thedailywhat: In Case You Missed It of the Day: As predicted, Conan pushed the envelope on late-night television last night, officiating the wedding of longtime costume designer Scott Cronick and partner David Gorshein. What therefore Coco hath joined together, let not man put asunder. Mazel tov! [teamcoco.] I have to admit I was crying like a girl!

I'm so handy
I don’t have a rubber band or a hair thing for my braid, so I just opened up a paper clip and twisted around the end of my braid. McGiva!

drabyrinth
portmandose: [drab-uh-rinth] It’s easy to get stuck in a routine. I would say it’s like being stuck in a maze, but people in a maze look for a way out. I would say I’m in a drabyrinth right now.

portmandose: [bland-shee] Raising your voice in a conversation does not make you more interesting. Raising your voice in an argument does not make you more right. You instead become a face in the loud and that face is ugly. And when you go that far off discourse, it’s hard to travel back.

portmandose: [juhg-ler-nawt ] There are those that take on multiple projects, adding more and more spinning plates like a drug-infused Ed Sullivan act. These people should not be confused with those that excel at multiple projects. Spinning plates are one amazing, shiny, but they spin…
