Other People I Follow

My husband, who shall remain nameless for the sake of his manhood, really likes Twilight. Recently we went to see Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 1 for Thanksgiving. I was so excited about the ending and curious what’s going to happen next that I decided that maybe I should have read the book. I searched the book to read online and started reading immediately after we got home from the movies. I stayed up until 1 am even though I had to be at work the next day, catching up on (spoiler alert: stop reading if you don’t want to or know what’s happening next) the birth of Bella as a vampire. Finally said husband peeled me, by force from the computer and almost carried me to bed. Last night Sancho asked me for the site to read the book online and husband became irrationally upset. Indicating that we were cheating and should wait until the next movie comes out. His exact words were “That’s stupid, why would you ruin a movie like that?” Instead of defending the reason for reading the book and explaining to husband that the book came first and then the movie which makes it okay for the book to be read now, I laughed. And so did Sancho. We may have heard husbands feelings. But at least we know the true passion for his liking of the this wonderful series of 1. Books and 2. Movies. There is no point to this story or a morale of any kind, just a cute little story. Ssshh! Keep this a secret and tell nothing to husband that this was discussed.
